After you’ve eaten, clean the aligners gently with a toothbrush after each meal to ensure they remain clean. You should also regularly brush and floss after eating to prevent any food from being lodger in the aligners.

Will Invisalign affect my lifestyle?

One of the main benefits of Invisalign is how little impact the treatment has on your life and your appearance. Apart from the small amount of maintenance required to keep them clean, and removing them when eating and drinking, wearing the aligners should have very little impact on your day-to-day life. They are almost invisible when wearing them and in many cases people will forget they are even wearing them. The aligners can also be removed for short periods of time if required, but they need to be in place for at least 20 hours per day to be effective.
