Pigmentation can be caused by anything from sun damage due to prolonged sun exposure to even acne scarring. There is not one set method that shall remove the pigmentation. There are many factors to consider such as your lifestyle, skin colour, skin type and the factor that caused the pigment to flair up to begin with.

You may need to go onto some form of Skin Care prior to continuing treatment. This will help stop any further pigment being made. The rest of the treatment regime shall help reduce the pigment that is already there until it disappears.

If it is sunspots or thread veins (little red veins seen on the face) then perhaps some IPL sessions shall help diminish the pigmentation. You can do this without going on skincare.

Chemical Peels are also a great way of removing pigment from the skin. These come in different strengths and have different base ingredients depending on what area and what issue is being treated. You may require something simple such as a light Milk Peel, something of medium depth such as a TCA Peel or the full depth Phenol Peel.
